25 INSPIRING ADVOCATES FROM THE U.S. AND AROUND THE WORLD
Throughout our year-long 25th Anniversary Celebration, we profiled 25 inspiring tobacco control and public health advocates and their unique contributions to the collective fight for a more equitable, just and healthier future. The series starts with our very first National Youth Advocate of the Year from 1996, Anna Santiago Kiley, and ends with this year’s 2022 Barrie Fiske National Youth Advocate of the Year, Agamroop Kaur. The series of 2-minute profiles spotlights advocates from around the globe working to reduce tobacco use and taking on other critical public health challenges, such as road safety, drowning prevention and healthy food policies.
